“Kylym Shamy” Public Foundation is a non-profit human rights organization founded in 2003. The main goal of the organization is to promote the development of a democratic and rule of law state through the promotion and protection of human rights and freedoms. The fund operates in Bishkek.
The key priority areas are:
- Providing free legal consultation;
- Analysis, research and monitoring of decisions of public authorities;
- Active participation in the processes of establishing public control over the activities of public authorities;
- Participation in the development of draft laws and by-laws on the protection of human rights;
- Informing citizens on all issues related to human rights.
